We're going down. But not for long. This morning I took the morning off to rest up and get back to it. Especially since this is the last few weeks before an actual vacation.

Lately, things have seemed to pile up on my plate, or more literally, my Trello board. Sometimes it feels like I'm slacking on everything and none of my projects will ever get done.

A few times recently I've had the realization that something I used to struggle with is all of a sudden easy. I hope that eventually happens with writing.

Week 1 of my weekly check-ins on all things creative in my life. I got here through a variety of changes on this site, we'll see if this one sticks!

The cliche activity at a wedding: "Give Advice to the Newly Weds!" The cliche advice: "Never go to bed mad". That doesn't work for us. I can be humble enough to admit I become a mean angry person and that doesn't help anything.

Lesson learned: I listen to too many podcasts on too many different topics inspiring me to do too many different things. Not that I'll change.

I knew it had been a stretch to apply for a full-stack web developer position. However, even if it didn't lead to a job offer, I knew it was worth a shot. At the very least, I got to learn what a web developer interview is like.

I prefer "partner" over "wife". It feels right in our relationship, I'm not just "his wife" but an equal partner. Someone that isn't defined as a gendered role with gender norms to follow. I'm not at risk of being 'too masculine'.

I'm partly trying to justify thousands of dollars of debt only to switch tracks a few years out of my Master's degree. As well as, point out transferable skills that apply no matter the situation.

After much deliberation, I finally settled on a new Homepage! Somehow I ended up even more minimalistic than ever before. But now there's interactions! Ah, so fancy, much new, great joy. And a new highlight to freelancing!
